VIVOTEK’s compact cube network camera

VIVOTEK CC8130 compact cube network camera

VIVOTEK has launched a new megapixel-class camera tailored to the needs of retailers – the CC8130, to enhance VIVOTEK’s lineup of security cameras designed for the retail industry.

The CC8130 is a compact cube camera especially designed for indoor surveillance with a flat back-panel for easy mounting on walls, desktop or countertops, and ideal for locations such as checkout stations, capturing faces at eye level. The unique and physically elegant design makes it the best choice for boutique, hotel, restaurant, department or convenience stores. With a 180° panoramic viewing angle, the camera provides full coverage of monitored areas without blind spots, providing complete video security. In addition, a built-in microphone to record sound within a 5 meter radius further enhances its value as a security tool.

VIVOTEK’s new camera CC8130 targeted at retail environments supports industry-standard H.264 compression, drastically reducing file sizes and conserving valuable network bandwidth. Together with the ST7501 multi-lingual 32-channel recording software, customers can also take advantage of the iViewer remote monitoring app for iOS and Android mobile devices, setting up an easy-to-use IP surveillance system with ease.

CC8130’s key features include 1-Megapixel CMOS Sensor, 180° horizontal panoramic view, compact and elegant design, real-time H.264 and MJPEG compression (dual codec), 30 fps @ 1280×800, and built-in IEEE 802.3af compliant PoE.

Geutebruck’s new G-Cam/E range of HD cameras

Geutebruck’s new G-Cam/E range of HD cameras

Geutebruck’s new G-Cam/E range of HD cameras is designed for quicker, cheaper, safer installation and adjustment. There are box, fixed dome, bullet and PTZ dome models for all types of professional monitoring applications, for indoors or out, with or without one-click AF. All have 1/2.7” CMOS image sensors, support H.264 and MJPEG, offer HD1080P resolution and day/night operation with removable cut filters for optimum light sensitivity and colour reproduction.

Not only are these cameras simple to install, but you can set them up without taking your laptop up the ladder.  After drilling holes and mounting a G-Cam/E series camera, you just plug a tiny pocket-sized service screen into its analogue output and set the viewing angle. Then you can close the housing and adjourn to the relative comfort of your workstation or control room. There you assign the IP address, take advantage of the remote-controlled motorised lens to adjust the image quality, and run the Geutebruck video system’s CamCheck feature to create a reference image from each camera. This image not only lets you document the installation for approval purposes, but also in the longer term, facilitates quality control checks and system quality certification.  Questions like: Has the field of view remained constant? Are the lens and housing window clean?  Has vegetation grown to obscure the view? – are all easy to answer when you have a definitive reference.

MESSOA 2MP IP LPR and Lite NVR Solution

The long anticipated MESSOA IP-based LPR camera line will be showcased in the upcoming ISC West Show. Taking a great leap to IP technology, numerous advanced features, including Full HD resolution, multiple lane coverage, intelligent traffic mode, and customizable profile configuration, are designed into the latest IP LPR cameras to improve traffic surveillance experience to a whole new level.

For challenging applications, such as high-speed, long-range or low light environments, the cameras can be further integrated with the MESSOA SLI080 Series IR Illuminator for IR enhancement. The duo provides a powerfully effective solution that brings out the best low light performance and recognition results demonstrated via the Milestone ANPR platform.

Plug-and-play Lite NVR Solution with Full HD local display

MESSOA all new Lite NVR Solution, targeting small-scale installations such as homes and small businesses, will also be placed under the spotlight. With true plug-and-play setup and real-time local display up to Full HD resolution, the Linux-embedded solution works just like a DVR but without the need for those complicated network settings that would be otherwise required with conventional NVR systems.

Featuring a standalone network video recorder up to 8 channels, along with a series of NVR-ready MESSOA megapixel cameras, the Lite NVR Solution offers a complete system kit that can be easily installed in a matter of minutes. There is no need to purchase extra computers or software to operate the system, as the NVR runs on itself, which helps save a great deal, especially for those budget concerned buyers.

Other products to showcase include MESSOA IP camera lineups, ranging from 5MP bullet cameras to the just-released 1080p, 30fps dome cameras. Their Image sharpness backed by the proprietary imaging technology and the intelligent video features will be demonstrated live as well.

Arecont Vision 20 megapixel panoramic camera

Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, introduces the world’s first 20 megapixel day/night panoramic cameras to the market. The new SurroundVideo® 20 megapixel H.264 cameras provide higher-resolution 180-degree or 360-degree panoramic views and can replace up to 65 conventional cameras. The new all-in-one models are cost-effective solutions for applications where mechanical pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) devices might otherwise be used or where multiple cameras would be needed to view expansive coverage areas.

The new 20 megapixel day/night panoramic camera represents Arecont Vision’s third generation of panoramic megapixel cameras. Arecont Vision first introduced multi-sensor SurroundVideo® panoramic megapixel cameras in 2006, and continues to lead the industry in megapixel panoramic cameras and megapixel solutions overall.

Arecont Vision panoramic cameras enable users to view and record extremely wide fields of view while simultaneously digitally zooming in to multiple regions of interest, which is something a PTZ cannot do,” said Raul Calderon, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Arecont Vision. “These innovative 20-megapixel cameras set a new benchmark in panoramic video resolution and extend the functionality and ROI benefits of the technology even further. The image definition is something you really have to see to believe.”

The first 20-megapixel panoramic cameras on the market provide a 180-degree or a 360-degree panoramic view using four high-sensitivity 5-megapixel sensors, each offering a 2592×1944-pixel view at 11.5fps, for a total image area of 10,368×1944 pixels at 2.8fps. The cameras use dual H.264 and MJPEG encoders. These panoramic cameras also can be binned to 1.25 megapixels per sensor, increasing light sensitivity.

The new SurroundVideo® cameras offer hard ceiling mount or surface-mount configurations standard, and wall and pendant mount using optional accessories. Models are available with day/night functionality and an integrated heater and blower. The IP66-rated environmental chassis and polycarbonate dome are vandal-resistant and eliminate the need for external housing.

An easily adjustable 2-axis gimbal provides 360-degree pan and 90-degree tilt adjustment. The 360-degree panoramic model also provides plus-or-minus 10-degree (20-degree total) individual mechanical adjustment for each sensor.

On-camera privacy mask enables video to be blocked in multiple regions in any arbitrary shape. Extended motion detection provides a higher-granularity grid of 1,024 distinct motion detection zones per channel.
